A music producer and performer who uses the guitar as her primary instrument. She explores sound experiments through acoustic, analog, and electronic means, focusing on soundscapes and ambient music. She is part of the collective Híbridas y Quimeras, which aims to promote the work of individuals who identify as women in the field of sound practices.

Tirzah Joy Huerta Uecke - Jesse & Joy

Tirzah Joy Huerta Uecke, better known as Joy... She is a Mexican songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist of the musical duo Jesse & Joy. She is part of a lesbian-parent family with her wife, Diana Atri, and their baby, Noah.

Joy Huerta won her first Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album with the duo's fifth release, Un Besito Más. In her acceptance speech, she publicly expressed her support for "all Hispanics in the United States."

Her band has received one Grammy Award for Best Latin Album and six Latin Grammy Awards in various categories.

La bruja Texcoco

La bruja de Texcoco takes up the classic pre-Columbian rhythms and the aesthetics of transvestism of some indigenous cultures. It is a musical and performance project that arises from rejecting masculinity in Mexican music, appropriating it and leading it to develop in extravagant situations, full of femininity, huipils, masks and sequins.

Luisa Almaguer

Luisa Almaguer is a singer, actress and trans communicator from CDMX who has been part of projects such as Lowboy, Acidandali and ASCO.media. Her solo work to date consists of two albums: Miljillo, 2016 and Mataronomatar, 2019. Her sound could be defined as a harmony between melancholy and chaos through elements ranging from trova to industrial, shoegaze, hyper and grunge. She has performed at Festival Marvin, Museo Tamayo, MUAC, Multiforo Alicia, Centro de Cultura Digital, 316 Centro and her work has appeared in media such as Vice, Sin Embargo, Remezcla, KEXP, Nexos, Marvin, Warp, Indie Rocks, Comrade Tv (nrmal), among others. Currently, Luisa is preparing her next studio material produced by Santiago Mijares (Big Love), as well as her first film, an experimental documentary about the Mexican artist Belafonte Sensacional, starring actor Lázaro Gabino Rodriguez.
