Raymix

Mexican singer-songwriter Raymix released “Llámame” this weekend, an autobiographical song about the end of his first gay relationship, which left him heartbroken and led him to come out to his father about his sexuality.

“I decided to write it because I want to base my career on reality. That’s what motivated me to come out of the closet, and it’s what inspired me to share this very important story in my life. I will live authentically,” the artist told Efe. (Source 1)

Raymix has earned gold and platinum records in Mexico and the United States. His hit “Oye Mujer” won multiple awards, including Regional Mexican Song of the Year at the Latin American Music Awards (2018), the Billboard Latin Music Award for Regional Mexican Song of the Year (2018), and the Éxito SACM (2019) awarded by the Society of Authors and Composers of Mexico for the most played songs of the previous year.
