Myllena Varginha
Brazilian Singer and Doctor
In 2004, Myllena released her first CD, Melhor pra mim, which included four re-recordings ("É Ouro Pra Mim," "O Rock Que Você Pediu," "Aquela Estrela," and "I Will Survive," the latter originally by Gloria Gaynor) and six new songs, with "Agora Vai" being the most significant. According to Myllena, the lyrics speak about a time of difficulties that did not prevent her from moving forward.
In 2014, Myllena released the CD Liberdade de Ser. Over two years of preparation, produced by her and musician Torcuato Mariano, with musical direction by Jorge Ailton, under Lulu Santos's supervision, they selected 12 tracks from a pool of 30 to 40 songs for the album.
She has been married since 2018 to singer-songwriter Isabella Taviani. In September 2019, the couple welcomed twins Ignácio and Estevão. The babies were conceived through artificial insemination performed by Myllena.
